The Choir Today

The thriving choir consists of a diverse and committed group of 30 talented individuals. Their collective voices come together to create a rich and dynamic sound that resonates with audiences. There are also three organists.

The choir's repertoire encompasses a wide range of vocal compositions of soprano, alto, tenor and bass, spanning various genres and styles. From classical masterpieces to contemporary arrangements, they explore the depth and versatility of choral music. Their performances feature breathtaking solos, intricate harmonies, and powerful choral arrangements, leaving a lasting impact on listeners. Whether it's enchanting a cappella pieces or collaborative works with instrumental accompaniment, the choir's vocal compositions showcase their exceptional musicality and artistic expression.

Singing at weekly Church services is the Choir's primary duty, and has been since the founding of the choir in 2008, as a continuation of the past Latin choir which was dismissed in 1945.

The choir puts a strain on being liturgically and chorally accurate under the Catholic Church regulations.

The Choir will be celebrating their 17th Anniversary on the 23rd November 2025 with a grand Latin & English sung Mass.
